3RD PARTY MASCHINE EXPANSION PACKS FULL

Akai (at the time) didn’t even understand the full potential of their samplers. In my opinion, Akai began gaining ‘heavy’ traction with the release of their S- Series samplers (S612, S900 S950) those were game-changers.

They’ve been known for leaving their mark in the industry dating back to the 60s. Please keep the “fanboy” mentality out of this The Akai LegacyĪkai ‘was’ a force to reckon with. This is about competition, longevity and which flagship product will remain king in the end. This article is not about features, builds, workflow, sounds, real hip-hop, or your opinion on which is better. I love what Native Instruments has done with Maschine and I love what Akai has done with the Mpc Renaissance, but can Akai really come back from the devastating blows they’ve suffered over the years? Can the Mpc Series keep up with Maschine? I never had any messages about locked serials but plenty were showing as demo only or not even installed and they refused to authorise. For the record, I’m not a biased person. Anyway, certainly check to see if you have any of the old Service Center xml files on your machine and get rid of them ASAP and see if that helps you out. When I found out about the cause I simply couldn't believe NI could let such a problem exist (let alone not being able to advise on the cure). Getting rid of the Service Center xml's fixed all of my Natice Access problems instantly. Basically Native Access was completely dumbstruck at having its own xml's plus the Service Centre xml's - it couldn't work out what was registered and installed and what wasn't. During all my re-installs on the new PC it appears Service Centre had installed & opened itself at some point, thus generating all the old. Even Heavyocity drew a blank and could only tell me that from their records my licenses were fine.Īnyway, I finally fixed the issues myself after much trial and tribulation - Native Access does NOT play well with the old Service Centre. Native Access 'support' was abysmal and basically just said "you're on your own" after offering only 1 piece of completely useless information. I followed all the NI instructions plus a few tips picked up on the forum with no success.

I had several libraries that refused to be anything other than 'Demo' and two Heavyocity libraries that said they weren't even installed (they were) and no way via NA to install them.

In a recent PC upgrade, Native Access was the bane of my life for 3 whole days.

3RD PARTY MASCHINE EXPANSION PACKS SERIAL NUMBER

In the end it was a call to NI support to remove the blocked serial number from my account that solved the issue.

So my two 'virgin' serial numbers got registered and the one expansion that one serial number had been blocked by CS when they refunded me, was being used so I could no longer use that expansion even if I tried to force it to use the serial number that was valid and was registered and in use by me. What Native Access did was just grab the first serial numbers it saw in my account, ignored whether the product had serial numbers already registered in my account. Then a week or two ago NI updated all Maschine expansions to expansions. anyway I never registered the second copies, figured one day I would sell them.Īll 3 expansions were in my non registered section. I also had two expansions I had two copies of, probably bought during a special cloud 9. One I had bought two copies of accidentally (clicked the buy button twice or something) and NI refunded me, disabled one of the serial numbers but kept it in my account for whatever reason.

I had three maschine expansions that I had issue with recently. I don't have a work around, but I wonder if it is related to the issue I had.ĭid you ever have perchance ever buy two copies of CSS by mistake and one was refunded or sold?
